DR. EUGENE RICHARDSON Tuskegee Airman, P-47 Fighter pilot: Will discuss the experiences of WWII African-American aviators in overcoming adversity and amassing an outstanding combat record.

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.

JIM REMBISZ, National Medal of Honor Society: Will speak about the B-17 mission of June 16, 1943 in which pilot Jay Zeamer and bombardier Joe Sarnoski were awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. This mission was featured on an episode of the History Channel’s Dogfights, and the Sarnoski Medal of Honor will be on display at the museum.

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.

ROBERT F. DORR, Historian and Author: is editor of AirPower and a Washington correspondent for World Air Power Journal.He will discuss his upcoming book Hell Hawks: the History of the 365th Fighter Group. This is a history of an aerial band of brothers who went ashore at Normandy just after the D-Day invasion, fought on the continent through the Battle of the Bulge, and were still in action when Germany surrendered.

Germany's last fighter of WW-I. Shown here in our museum on temporary display. The wings will be re-attached when the aircraft is permanently mounted. High altitude flight gear and artifacts from G.M. Bell of Bells Aviation. Norden Bomb Sight restored by and on loan from the John Spencer Collection. This exhibit honors Medal of Honor recipient (posthumous) Joseph R. Sarnoski, Bombardier-United States Army Air Corps 1943. Depicting "Rosie the Riveter" a ficticious character representing women industrial workers during WW-II, and, a very rare grouping of WWII WASP flight gear on loan from GM Bell
