Who We Are
The DVHAA is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation and display of the aviation history of the Delaware Valley. We operate the Harold F. Pitcairn Wings of Freedom Museum, with 18 rare and restored aircraft, and the Harris "Sandy" Greenberg Aviation Library--a top notch research facility, with over five thousand books, technical documents, magazines, still and motion pictures, and other media. At our own aircraft restoration facility, members work year-round restoring aircraft, including numerous vintage jets and helicopters.
Access to the Harold F. Pitcairn Wings of Freedom Museum is from our parking lot located a 1/4 mile south of the NAS JRB Willow Grove main gate on Rt. 611 in Horsham, Pa. Visitors do not need to enter the base. Admission is free and photography is encouraged. Group tours should be scheduled through the DVHAA Tour Director.
The Museum Gift Shop is a perfect way to suprise the aviation enthusiast in your family. Visit the Gift Shop during museum hours to see the large selection of die-cast toys, models, clothing, and aviation art available for sale.
