The Museum will be closed on Independence Day, July 4th 2010.

Hours of Operation

  • Saturdays from 10:30am to 4:00pm
  • Sundays from 10:30am to 4:00pm
  • Wednesdays from 10:30am to 3:00pm
  • Thursdays from 10:30am to 3:00pm
  • Fridays from 10:30am to 3:00pm

Small children must be supervised, and please, no pets or smoking. School and group tours need to be scheduled through our Tour Administrator  (phone 215-672-2277 and leave a message with your contact information). Private parties and special events can also be scheduled. Contact the Tour Administrator or call our offices for further information.

 

Admission

Admission to the museum is FREE to all visitors. Donations are appreciated but not required.

Location

The The Harold F. Pitcairn Wings of Freedom Museum is located along Route 611, adjacent to the NAS-JRB Willow Grove and three miles north of Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 343.

Note: Our GPS Navigator, Mapquest and Google Maps Address is - 1155 Easton Road, Horsham, PA

Our museum facility is free and open to the public (donations are gladly accepted). However, please do not attempt to enter the NAS base. All parking should be in front of the museum building which houses the ME-262.

 

Driving Directions

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276):

  •  Take Exit 343 - Willow Grove
  • Turn right onto Route 611 North (Easton Road)
  • Follow Route 611 approximately 3 miles
  • Continue just past the Tinius Olsen building (on left) and miniature golf (on right), the parking lot for the museum is on the left.

From I-95 and points East

  • Take Exit 37 (Street Road) and follow Street Road (Route 132) West
  • Make a left onto Route 611 South (Easton Road - approximately 17 miles from I-95)
  • Follow Route 611 for 2 miles.
  • The museum parking lot is on the right just past the NAS JRB Willow Grove main gate.
